Born Ndongmo Eurish Ashungoh Givinchi, raised in the streets of Douala, Cameroon.
In the heart of Douala, Cameroon, where the salty Atlantic breeze blends with the vibrant rhythms of Makossa and Bikutsi, Givinchi took his first breath. Born Ndongmo Eurish Ashungoh Givinchi, he grew up in the streets of Fontem, a small town in the South-West region of Cameroon. From humble beginnings, he carried a vision far bigger than his surroundings.
Known as Givinchi - THE VOICE, he was shaped by life in the trenches, experiences that would later fuel his music and define his voice. With nothing but a microphone and a notebook filled with raw verses, he began telling his story, transforming personal struggles into powerful messages.
Givinchi stormed into the music industry with his debut single “Big Stepper”, released on 17/09/2023. The track served as a bold introduction, an anthem of confidence, growth, and determination officially marking his arrival.
Following the success of Big Stepper, he released his debut album “Voice Of The People” on 07/01/2024. The project reflects his journey and the experiences of those around him. Each track was carefully crafted to resonate deeply with listeners, giving a voice to the voiceless and shining light on real-life stories.
Today, Givinchi continues to stand on stage, reminding the world that hip-hop is more than beats and bars, it is expression, identity, and revolution. As the sun sets over Douala, his verses echo beyond borders, reaching Fontem and beyond, proving that greatness can rise from even the deepest trenches.
